About the Western Caucus Foundation

The Western Caucus Foundation (WCF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating policymakers and the public on key issues impacting the American West and rural America. Through close collaboration with the Senate and Congressional Western Caucuses, WCF facilitates public policy discussions, outreach, and cultural exchange programs that elevate the voices of rural communities and highlight the values that define Western life.

Our mission is to foster understanding of the West as more than a landscape—it’s a way of life rooted in strong communities, resource stewardship, and resilient economies. By bridging the gap between decision-makers in Washington and the realities of rural life, WCF champions individual rights, state and local governance, natural resource utilization, and economic opportunity.
