Member Benefits

Staff Expertise

Our staff of experienced professionals provides you with strategic intelligence, benchmarking data, consultant referrals and best practices. When you need help, we also connect you with other Council members who have overcome similar challenges.

Legal Guidance

You’ll receive free legal guidance for all of your questions related to campaign finance, lobbying and ethics laws.

Executive Education

Every year, we produce more than 100 training programs and executive forums on advocacy, digital communication, PACs, global public affairs and a host of other topics. Many of our seminars now offer virtual participation via computer — and podcasts from our popular webinars are also available.

The Council sponsors certificates in PAC & Grassroots Management and Public Affairs Management. These rigorous programs expand your knowledge, strengthen your skills and help prepare you for the next step in your career.

Professional Networks

We host exclusive peer groups for professionals working in political involvement, international public affairs, corporate social responsibility and association public affairs. More than 1,700 people are currently active in our networks. Participation is free and available only to Council members.

Customized Training & Benchmarking

Our team can help you improve management processes, audit your performance and get the data you need to increase your budgets or elevate public affairs in your organization. We’ll also create customized training programs on effective advocacy, stakeholder engagement, issues management and similar topics.
