### About the Job
Our Federal Government Relations Senior Manager will represent StubHub and drive its advocacy efforts at the U.S. federal level, including before Congress, the Administration, and key agencies. StubHub advocates for a transparent, secure, and competitive ticket marketplace to benefit fans. The role will work closely with the business to develop an effective strategy to build the StubHub brand and advocate on issues of interest with key federal policymakers, regulators, and targeted stakeholders. Candidates should expect a fast-paced, collegial, and collaborative work environment.
**Salary Band:** $165k – $200K

### What You’ll Do
– Provide strategic advice to the business with respect to federal government and policy-related issues, as well as on the federal government and policymakers’ response to business objectives.
– Track, monitor, analyze, and respond to legislative and regulatory initiatives impacting the business.
– Build and align policy positions around business objectives and goals.
– Devise and oversee a federal government relations strategy to include legislative and regulatory campaigns that advance the business’ objectives and policy priorities.
– Establish a strong profile for StubHub and its representatives on Capitol Hill.
– Develop and maintain relationships with key policymakers and staff, specifically amongst Committees of jurisdiction (Commerce and Judiciary) and Leadership.
– Manage a growing team of external consultants to support the business’ interests in key markets.
– Manage coalition partners and leverage third-party stakeholders and trade associations to achieve advocacy goals.
– Represent StubHub at industry and third-party stakeholder events to build the brand’s reputation and awareness amongst policymakers and regulators.
– Collaborate closely with the Communications Team to build comprehensive and effective advocacy campaigns that leverage media tools and interests.
– Serve as spokesperson for StubHub on government relations-related inquiries and outreach efforts as needed.
– Oversee the creation of supporting documents, research projects, and StubHub policy briefs.
– Inform the creation of budgets to support the government relations program.
### What You’ve Done
– Thorough understanding of federal government legislative, regulatory, and political processes.
– Strong network of bipartisan relationships on Capitol Hill; established working relationships with members and staff of the House / Senate Commerce and Judiciary Committees a plus.
– Highly skilled in policy analysis, development, and adaptation.
– Proven creative thinker and strategist.
– Exceptional leadership skills to effectively work with and influence diverse audiences, both internal and external, and across parties.
– Experience driving results within a trade association or coalition process, and effectively overseeing work of outside consultants.
– Exceptional writing, communication, and presentation skills.
– Super organizational skills, adept at juggling multiple responsibilities.
– A demonstrated ability to develop and execute advocacy campaigns.
– A self-starter with an ability to work both independently and in close collaboration with a remote team.
– Results-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills and good judgment.
– Experience successfully navigating and collaborating with business leaders.
– Flexible, adaptable, and a proven ability to turn challenges into opportunities.
– Ideal candidate has 5-7+ years of federal government relations experience.
– Experience in highly-regulated industries a plus.

The anticipated gross base annual salary range for this role is $165,000 – $200,000 per year. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of StubHub’s total compensation and competitive benefits package, which includes equity, 401(k), paid time off, paid parental leave, and comprehensive health benefits.
