CFS is looking to hire a Campaign Finance Compliance Analyst to join our team!

More about the position:

Campaign Compliance Analysts are responsible for the financial management, compliance, and reporting requirements for candidates, their campaign committee and any affiliated committees. Analysts regularly communicate with candidates, incumbents, and high-level political staff regarding political compliance, financial activity, and reporting. Analysts are challenged with a quickly changing legal and political landscape, creating a fast-paced environment with constant opportunities for learning and engagement.

Day-to-day work includes preparing financial updates for the client, processing payments for the various financial obligations of the campaign, contribution entry and database management, and answering any compliance questions from the client. This position will also include working directly with candidates and incumbents on financial disclosure reporting, which includes gathering financial data, preparing disclosure reports, and filing with the Committee on Ethics or other governing entity.

Preferred Hard Skills:

• Experience in Excel, database management, or accounting software is preferred.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
• 4-year degree in political science, economics, government, financial accounting, or any related field that demonstrates ability to perform professional responsibilities with proficiency
