## The Role

Offchain is looking for a Senior PR & Communications Manager to act as the primary architect of our global communications strategy. The ideal candidate is a skilled storyteller with a proven track record in crafting compelling narratives, managing external PR teams, media relations, and developing comprehensive PR strategies.

You will develop thought leadership initiatives, secure speaking opportunities at industry conferences, and organise executive communications to ensure our leadership team is well‑briefed for opportunities. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively communicate Offchain’s vision and values across various platforms and to diverse audiences.

## What you’ll do

– **Craft and execute PR strategies** — Develop comprehensive PR and communication strategies aligned with business objectives, focusing on media relations, executive thought leadership, and ecosystem growth.
– **Oversee external PR agencies** — Manage global PR partners, set KPIs, and ensure consistent delivery on brand goals.
– **Build media relationships** — Establish and nurture relationships with key journalists, editors, and influencers across blockchain, crypto, and tech sectors.
– **Generate high‑quality content** — Produce press releases, blog posts, social content, and executive briefing materials.
– **Advise leadership** — Prepare executives for interviews, keynotes, and panels.
– **Collaborate across teams** — Work with Product, Marketing, and Engineering to ensure consistent messaging and technical accuracy.
– **Lead crisis communications** — Develop frameworks to mitigate reputational risks.
– **Monitor PR metrics** — Track performance, share of voice, and sentiment for stakeholders.

## What you’ll need

– **Extensive PR experience** — Including at least 3 years deeply immersed in blockchain and crypto.
– **Ability to simplify technical concepts** — Translate topics like Layer 2 scaling into accessible narratives.
– **Established media network** — Strong contacts in Web3 and mainstream tech/business press.
– **Exceptional communication skills** — With a versatile writing portfolio.
– **High‑stakes communications experience** — Ability to safeguard reputation in a 24/7 news cycle.
– **Proven PR impact** — Demonstrated success driving long‑term business growth.
– **Team‑oriented mindset** — Thrives in a remote‑first, fast‑paced environment.
– **Relevant degree** — Bachelor’s in PR, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
