## Manager, Public Policy

The Manager, Public Policy is a key member of the US Public Policy team. The Manager will report to the Director of Policy and Reimbursement and will work closely with the policy and broader government affairs teams as an analyst and thought partner. This role will work across and partner with the Public Policy team at large on key issues including but not limited to: 340B, price controls, reimbursement coding and payment, patient access, and other key prescription drug policy issues.

This individual will work closely across the GSK Communications and Government Affairs (CGA) team to shape the health policy environment and advance GSK’s public policy agenda. This role also works in a matrix environment with key partners across US Legal and commercial Market Access teams.

### Position Responsibilities

Monitor and track policies relevant to GSK’s portfolio and conduct in‑depth research and analysis on legislation and regulations to extract key business insights.

Develop informative slide deck presentations, research briefs, advocacy materials, and other relevant content to effectively communicate insights.

Lead in‑depth analysis of key federal regulations from government agencies of focus including HHS and CMS; develop communications around these regulations and contribute to the development of comment letters and other engagement tools.

Help support and participate in external stakeholder relationships with key trade association workgroups, relevant consultants, and vendors.

### Areas of Remit

In partnership with the Public Policy Directors, contribute to the development and implementation of GSK’s overall policy agenda in the US.

Provide insight and guidance to CGA and the business units on reimbursement and federal policy developments, including building relevant policy positions and advocacy materials to advance priorities.

Collaborate with colleagues across the business units and participate in internal matrix teams to assess the support needed by CGA to help drive business outcomes.

Support policy and advocacy strategies, including the development and approval of materials, in conjunction with relevant matrix partners: business units, US Legal, US Market Access team, US Medical Affairs, US Communications team, and GSK Global teams.

Provide support for external policy forums (PhRMA, etc.) and represent GSK thought leadership on priorities.

Serve as a conduit to policy consultants and internal GSK stakeholders; help maintain a network of external consultants to monitor and assess evolving program and policy changes relevant to the business.

### Basic Qualifications

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

– Bachelor’s degree
– 4+ years’ direct experience in policy analysis, government, consulting, or similar experience, including prior health policy and pharmaceutical experience and/or working within government agencies (e.g., HHS, CMS)
– Experience managing several competing priorities/projects at one time

### Preferred Qualifications

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

– Advanced degree (e.g., MPH or MPA)
– Ability to synthesize and effectively communicate complex, disparate issues in a clear, concise manner through written or verbal communication
– Evidence of being a self‑starter with a proactive approach
– Experience in self‑management of time and work prioritization without oversight
– Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
– Ability to deliver clear, impactful, and succinct verbal presentations
– Understanding of current healthcare and biopharmaceutical industry issues, including knowledge of medical and pharmacy drug benefit dynamics
– Demonstrated analytical and independent problem‑solving skills; ability to exercise sound, independent judgment
– Demonstrated ability as a project manager, collaborator, and individual contributor

## Working Arrangement

This role is hybrid, with a primary expectation to be in our US office for core collaboration days and external meetings. Remote work will be balanced with in‑person team engagement.

## Compensation & Benefits

The US annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from **$134,250 to $223,750**. The US salary ranges take into account factors including work location within the US market, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level, and the market rate for the role.

In addition, this position offers an annual bonus and eligibility to participate in our share‑based long‑term incentive program, which is dependent on the level of the role.
