Government Affairs functions do not solely rely on one form of outreach to relationship build with lawmakers and increase exposure.  The PAC is a tool meant to support and enhance your overall advocacy priorities.  An important part of any PAC manager’s job is reminding your leadership, employee base and members why you have a PAC and why its success is critical to the success of your government relations team.  In this session, we will cover:  

  • How to get leadership buy-in and utilize their support 
  • Key facts and figures to support your PAC communications 
  • Strategies for explaining the PAC’s purpose and mission  
  • Metrics for PAC impact and progress beyond fundraising numbers

In the past two years, there has been a return to basics for PAC communications.  In this session, we will guide you through educating your eligible class and organization at large to understand your PAC and its unique purpose in addition to the larger campaign finance system.  Equipping your eligible class with this important knowledge creates a better comprehension of the PAC, decreasing concerns and misgivings.  Hear from expert PAC practitioners who have secured and maintained support for their PACs using these tactics.
