Module 1: The Essentials: PAC Management and Governance

To be successful, a PAC program must have a solid foundation of governance and management. This module will cover the essentials of compliance and reporting, checks and balances to maintain compliant solicitation practices, and tips for structuring your PAC board for success.

Learning objectives:

  • Compliance and reporting best practices
  • Key elements of building to a recruitment plan, including who to solicit, who can solicit and what constitutes a solicitation
  • Effective tactics for managing PAC boards and governance structures

Module 2: Education and Recruitment Strategies

Educating your restricted class on the role of the PAC and how it contributes to organization-wide advocacy goals is a key tenet of any recruitment campaign. During this module, learn effective education and fundraising strategies to incorporate into your PAC program today.

  • Gain fundamental PAC education messaging and talking points for donor communications
  • Best practices for targeting the eligible class and securing senior leadership support
  • Strategies to incentivize long-term PAC engagement

Module 3: PAC Disbursement Practices

This third and final module will deliver a comprehensive overview of effective PAC disbursement and candidate support strategies.
