Summary
As a Community Engagement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with local communities and executing corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities. Your focus will be on planning and executing community events, developing partnerships with schools and other local organizations, and overseeing volunteer programs that align with our CSR initiatives.
Responsibilities
Community Events Planning and Execution
- Plan, coordinate, and execute community events that align with the company’s CSR objectives.
- Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth event operations and high community engagement.
- Develop event strategies that foster positive relationships with local residents, community leaders, and businesses.
Partnership Development
- Build and manage relationships with local communities, schools, and non-profit organizations to create partnerships that enhance the company’s community presence.
- Identify and nurture collaborative opportunities for long-term partnerships that align with both community needs and the company’s mission.
CSR Program Management
- Oversee the development and implementation of the company’s CSR initiatives, ensuring they align with both corporate values and community needs.
- Monitor, track, and report on the impact of CSR programs to senior leadership, providing regular updates on progress and success metrics.
Volunteer Program Management
- Manage volunteer programs, organizing both company-wide and localized volunteer efforts.
- Encourage employee participation and promote volunteer opportunities to enhance community engagement.
Communication & Outreach
- Serve as the main point of contact for community partners and organizations.
- Create promotional materials and content to raise awareness of CSR programs and events across various platforms.
- Act as a representative of the company in the community, attending relevant meetings and events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, social work, or a related field is preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in community program management, event planning, or a related field.
- Familiarity with social media platforms for community engagement.
- Ability to analyze data to assess the effectiveness of community programs.
- Experience working with local governments, schools, and non-profits.
- Proven ability to plan, coordinate, and execute large-scale events and partnerships with local organizations.
- Strong communication, networking, and interpersonal skills to build relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Experience in volunteer program management and CSR initiatives.
- A passion for community development and social responsibility.
