About the Role:

Global Social Media Operations Manager

The Global Social Media Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing enterprise social media governance and operations in partnership with corporate, divisional, and regional social media teams and other cross-functional stakeholders. Specific responsibilities include vendor and project management, compliance and risk management, and internal training and enablement. This position will sit on the social media team within Global Corporate Communications and work in a hybrid capacity, either at our headquarters in Marlborough, MA, or at our facilities in Maple Grove or Arden Hills, MN.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support enterprise governance and operations projects for Boston Scientific’s global social media program spanning eight core businesses and four regions
  • Create, maintain and educate on company policies and SOPs pertaining to social media
  • Partner with internal teams to mitigate security, regulatory and other risks from social media activity
  • Manage enterprise contracts and RFPs from assessment to implementation and provide ongoing support as needed
  • Global admin for enterprise social media tools; oversee vendor relationships and facilitate internal training and adoption
  • Develop internal social media playbooks, resources and training curriculum
  • Manage new social media channel requests; maintain global channel inventory and conduct regular audits
  • Facilitate global and cross-divisional collaboration through active participation in the global social media community of practice

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in social media or marketing operations
  • Experience in healthcare, life sciences or other regulated industry preferred
  • Experience with Khoros, Talkwalker, or other enterprise social media tools strongly preferred
  • Strategic consultant with proven ability to influence outcomes
  • Excellent project management and communication skills
  • Ability to navigate large, matrix organizations and support a variety of cross-functional stakeholders
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills in developing relationships and leading by influence at all levels in the organization
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
