Job Summary

We are looking to hire a Government Relations Manager located in the DC/Virginia region and reporting to our VP, Global Trade and Government Relations. This person will provide management of and support for government relations activities at Flex.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Lead Flex program to identify, apply for, and manage U.S. state and federal incentives
  • Monitor and track political and legislative developments in the United States relevant to Flex and its customers
  • Support the Vice President, Global Trade and Government Relations in developing and implementing Flex’s government relations strategy in the United States and globally
  • Produce briefing materials and provide briefings for Flex executives on relevant developments, their impacts on Flex and its customers, and Flex’s response
  • Perform legislative, factual and records research
  • Manage local, state, and federal filings in government relations and incentives
  • Prepare correspondence, briefings, and analyses for internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop, track, and report on key metrics for government relations
  • Build and maintain databases, files, and similar
  • Organize and track files and records
  • Coordinate internally and externally with third party vendors, consultants, intermediaries, government officials, and others

The experience we are looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law; International Relations; Governmental Studies; Business Administration or similar experience
  • 5+ years experience working in Government or Government Relations at the federal or state level
  • Demonstrates expertise in multiple areas including Communications, Government, Business, and Project Management
  • Highly organized and process driven; excellent written, verbal, and executive communications skills; good understanding of business and government operations; with ability to manage complex programs, regulations, and stakeholders

Pay Range (Applicable to US Remote): Due to this role being remote, the actual pay range will vary depending on the geographical location of the candidate

$84,300.00 USD – $115,900.00 USD Annual
