### Key Role

Work as part of the Booz Allen Government Relations team to support key projects aimed at advancing our policy priorities, advocacy efforts, and stakeholder relationships. Collaborate closely with team members to deepen your understanding of policymaking processes and expand your network among internal peers, Capitol Hill, and other Washington-based entities. Research, develop, and coordinate materials to ensure our business interests are effectively represented and promoted in government policies and programs. Analyze bills, cover hearings and third-party events, conduct issue-specific research, prepare background documents, and manage internal priority issue tracking for the Government Relations team. Monitor and track federal legislation and regulations, providing insights on potential impacts to the company and advising on shifts in the issue landscape.

### Basic Qualifications

– 1+ years of experience in a research or support role
– Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint
– Knowledge of public policy and congressional processes
– Ability to work well independently and as a part of a collaborative team
– Ability to work and produce in a demanding, fast-paced environment
– Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines with a focus on detail
– Bachelor’s degree in Government, Political Science, Public Policy, Business Administration, or Public Administration

### Additional Qualifications

– Experience working for a government contractor, government agency or department, Member of Congress, congressional committee, or corporate government relations office
– Experience performing complex administrative duties
– Experience as a researcher and writer
– Ability to interpret the landscape for a variety of audiences and identify trends
– Possession of strong organizational and project management skills
– Possession of strong written and verbal communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $47,000.00 to $96,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
