This is your chance to be part of an in-house Government Affairs team that builds and establishes relationships with government entities while identifying legislative and regulatory risks and opportunities. As the PAC and Compliance Manager, you will support the team in driving Hilton’s strategy of protecting and advancing the business’s strategic goals. On the Government Affairs team reporting to the Director, Federal Government Affairs, you will manage the Political Action Committee and related political activities for us in addition to supporting our engagement at the Federal level with Members of Congress, the Administration, and stakeholders.

How You Will Make an Impact

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What Your Day-to-Day Will Be Like:

  • Manage the daily operations of our Political Action Committee including budget, receipts, contributions, and records.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal rules, guidelines, and laws working directly with internal and external vendors and consultants for company-wide political activity.
  • Prepare research and background material on legislative and regulatory issues to assist the Federal Government Affairs activity.

How You Will Collaborate With Others:

  • Collaborate with the Vice President and Director on priority projects to help enhance Hilton’s reputation with government stakeholders.
  • Work internally and with external vendors on issues affecting the company.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry trade associations, government, consultants, and coalition meetings.

What Projects You Will Take Ownership Of:

  • Draft communications and maintain the PAC website routine and database, help execute PAC activities to build awareness of and support of our PAC.
  • Assist with trade association management including billing and initiatives.
  • Monitor the development of legislation and regulations of interest to Hilton.

Why You’ll Be a Great Fit

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Three (3) years of work experience in Political Action Committee (PAC) administration, fundraising, or compliance.

It would be useful if you have:

  • Experience in legislative affairs, government affairs, or other similar work.
  • Previous database management and reporting experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively with internal and external partners.
