Basic Function of the Position:
Manage and support various elements of CTA’s events outside the U.S. and implement strategies to support international attendance growth at CES.
Critical Duties and Responsibilities:
CES International Events
- Manage logistics for CES events outside the U.S. to include registration, onsite signage, space usage, and exhibitor needs.
- Manage the day-to-day interactions with a network of vendors to support the events.
- Assist with the development timelines for key projects and ensure timelines are adhered to.
- Manage key portions of the events budget and process invoices for the events.
- Serve as a key contributor to a larger team that is tasked with building, growing, and executing the events.
- Work with other internal stakeholders to identify and manage external partner relationships as necessary.
- Provide background and briefing books for CTA executives as necessary.
International Programs at CES in Las Vegas
- Manage key elements of the CES international delegation program to include delegation registration, the delegation dinner, and hotel room block.
- Manage the international reception onsite at CES.
- Manage the International Business Centers onsite at CES (IBCs).
Work Experience:
3-5 years of relevant program or event management experience preferred. Previous experience hosting events outside the U.S. preferred.
Education/Training:
B.A./B.S. or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
Skills/Capabilities/Technical:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess excellent organization skills and have a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Should be able to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Deadline-oriented/time-efficient.
Additional Information:
Travel to CES in Las Vegas and international travel required.
