### Job Description

### Summary of Responsibilities

The Manager of Political Affairs manages all aspects of the AAFP’s political efforts, including management of FamMedPAC (Family Medicine Political Action Committee). Management includes developing and executing strategic activities at driving member participation in PAC activities, disbursing contributions to Congressional candidates and incumbents as it aligns with AAFP’s advocacy priorities, and overseeing all PAC-related internal and external compliance activities. This position serves as an ambassador of FamMedPAC at DC PAC events and AAFP conferences. Other duties as assigned.

This position reports to the Vice President of Government Relations.

### Requirements

– Bachelor’s degree or through equivalent work experience, plus a minimum of four years work experience.
– Must have experience with PAC platforms, such as DDC and Coalescent.
– Solid understanding of Federal Election Commission laws helpful.
– Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects on short timelines needed.

### Compensation Salary Range

$90,079.00 – $140,749.00
