J Strategies has multiple public affairs positions open. Job responsibilities center around client service for media relations, brand reputation management, legislative policy, and advocacy. Projects are focused on local and state media markets, as well as public policy initiatives at the state and federal levels. These positions require a two-year commitment. All employees are expected to be on internal career growth tracks.

Compensation

• $75,000 – $98,000

• $55,000 – $75,000

• $20,000 – $22,000

• 10% – 20% in addition to total compensation

Job Responsibilities

• Draft letters, media materials, and social media posts

• Take detailed notes in meetings

• Conduct research

• Educate and organize advocates to support client policy initiatives

• Support account leads on client accounts
