Stateside is seeking a Regional Government Affairs Manager to lead engagement across Eastern states. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who thrives in complex policy environments and wants to influence the future of technology and regulation.

This position is remote and reports to the Senior Vice President, Government Affairs & Strategic Growth and collaborates closely with both internal operations and client-facing teams.

Duties of Position:
Dedicated to one of Stateside’s high-profile clients, this crucial role will:

Monitor and interpret legislation and regulations across Eastern states
Focus on tech policy issues: AI, privacy, moderation, energy
Draft legislative language, policy briefs, and expert testimony
Build relationships with lawmakers, agencies, and third-party allies
Coordinate with contract lobbyists and internal teams
Track key opinion formers and submit weekly updates

What We’re Looking For:

10+ years in technology policy, law, or government affairs
Experience analyzing and drafting legislation
Strong leadership and strategic planning skills
Proven ability to integrate policy with business goals
Experience in state government or managing lobbyists
