Stateside is hiring a Regional Government Affairs Manager to lead strategic engagement across Western and Midwestern states. If you’re a seasoned policy expert with deep knowledge of state-level technology issues and a passion for influencing outcomes, this is your opportunity to make an impact.

This position is remote and reports to the Senior Vice President, Government Affairs & Strategic Growth and collaborates closely with both internal operations and client-facing teams.

What You’ll Do:
Dedicated to one of Stateside’s high-profile clients, this crucial role will:

Monitor and analyze legislation and regulations across Western and Midwest states
Focus on emerging tech policy: AI, data privacy, content moderation, energy
Develop and execute policy strategies, draft legislation, and prepare testimony
Build relationships with elected officials, agencies, and key opinion formers
Coordinate with contract lobbyists and internal teams
Submit weekly summaries and lead briefing

What We’re Looking For:

10+ years in technology policy, law, or regulatory affairs
Experience drafting and redlining legislation
Strong leadership and collaboration skills
Ability to align public policy with business strategy
Experience managing lobbyists or working in state government
