CURA Strategies is looking for a results-driven, emerging public relations professional to join our team. If you thrive on delivering meaningful results for clients and are motivated to transform health care through effective communication strategies, let’s connect.

Key Responsibilities
Research and analyze earned and social media trends to inform strategic recommendations, target key audiences, and track success metrics; experience with Muck Rack or other media databases preferred.

Develop media lists and begin engaging with journalists to foster relationships and secure media placements.

Monitor media coverage with an eye for opportunities to recommend timely responses, including pitching stories and crafting social posts.

Draft and edit high-quality content for earned and social media, including press releases, newsletters, bylines, client briefs, social posts and media pitches.

Provide daily project management and communications support for health care clients, including client call scheduling and participation, note-taking, project tracking, and status reporting.

Support email marketing and e-newsletter campaigns; experience with email marketing systems (EMS) and/or customer management systems (CMS) is a plus.

Assist with new business proposals as needed.

Support company culture initiatives and activities that promote CURA’s positive work environment.

Qualifications
We’re seeking qualified candidates ranging from entry level to 3 years of public relations/communications experience, preferably in a PR agency. Title will be based on level of experience, ranging from Assistant Account Executive to Senior Account Executive.

Candidate must have strong interest in health and wellness.

Experience or interest in pharmaceuticals, rare diseases, cardiology, mental health, biotechnology, diagnostics or health policy issues such as market access and drug pricing is a plus.

Strong writing and organizational skills and ability to multi-task.

Candidate must be detail-oriented with a proactive, innovative and positive attitude toward client service.

Candidates should be self-motivated and diligent with a high degree of proactivity and accountability for team-based work.
