Director

Veracity Worldwide, a boutique business intelligence and strategic advisory firm, is seeking to fill Director positions in its New York office. For nearly two decades, we have enabled businesses to fill information gaps, navigate political and regulatory risks, operate ethically, and thrive in opaque and complex jurisdictions. Our clients include Fortune 500 companies, leading private equity firms, and top global consulting and law firms. We have offices in New York, London, Tokyo, and Melbourne, and our slate of distinguished advisors and our human source network spans all major capitals.

As part of an ongoing strategic expansion, we are seeking candidate Directors with unique skills and an extraordinary background. You will be passionate about solving problems for businesses in future-facing industries.

  • You will need to be a sharp analyst, thorough in your research; adept at interpreting ambiguous information; capable of making connections between divergent sources of intelligence; and quick to understand the commercial implications of political and policy-related developments.
  • You must be a discreet professional, prizing confidentiality with respect to clients, sources, and methods; consistently demonstrating a professional and principled attitude; and temperamentally inclined toward anonymity rather than acclaim.
  • You should make for a congenial colleague, being courteous, friendly, and modest in all your dealings with clients and coworkers. We collaborate for the benefit of our clients, the firm, and each other.
  • You are a global citizen, having lived and worked internationally, ideally in an emerging or otherwise prospective market. An intense interest in geopolitical affairs is a minimum. Facility for languages other than English will be highly beneficial.
  • You are a multi-disciplinary thinker. We come from diverse backgrounds, having varied experience across intelligence, diplomacy, law, finance, consulting, journalism, academia, and the not-for-profit sector.
  • It is assumed you will have skills of excellent general application; however, it will be beneficial if you are also a subject matter expert, bringing deep, well-credentialed expertise in either a prospective jurisdiction or region or in a future-facing industry, such as critical minerals, the energy transition, and advanced technologies.
  • You will need to be comfortable serving as an advocate for our business, helping to craft and drive business development initiatives, and proactively creating and managing client relationships.

Candidate Directors should have at least seven years of relevant professional experience. A graduate degree in a relevant field is desirable. Candidates with working proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Mandarin, or Russian are particularly encouraged to apply. You will have an excellent academic record.

Application Procedures

Applications are received on a rolling basis. In due course, we will respond and provide further details to candidates whose skills and backgrounds best fit our current requirements and preferences.

  • Please send a cover letter and resume to [email protected].
  • Discussions will commence only with candidates who have been carefully vetted. While this may take some time, we will ensure to keep you abreast of all relevant developments.

Salary Range: $110,000 – $165,000
