BPC Action Manager – Technology Advocacy Position

BPC Action is seeking a Manager to support technology advocacy at an influential organization promoting bipartisan solutions. The ideal candidate should have experience in technology and AI policy, understanding of the legislative process, and excellent communication skills.


Responsibilities

1. Advocacy Initiatives:

  • Drive initiatives on technology and AI on Capitol Hill.
  • Set up a strategic plan with annual goals and deliverables.

2. Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with BPCA leadership to set advocacy goals and manage projects.
  • Participate in congressional outreach and represent BPC Action.

3. Legislative Monitoring:

  • Monitor and analyze federal legislative developments in technology policy.

4. Project Development:

  • Conceptualize, develop, and produce written products, public events, and activities.
  • Provide guidance on written materials and public events for legislative opportunities.

5. Funding and Relationships:

  • Advise and craft funding proposals.
  • Forge working relationships with peer organizations.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of the federal legislative process.
  • Strong organizational and political skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and at least 3 years of Capitol Hill experience.
