We are expanding our Marketing and Public Relations team by hiring two professionals:
- Senior Role: An experienced professional to lead major marketing and public relations initiatives.
- Junior Role: A less experienced marketing coordinator to manage smaller projects and support ongoing marketing and PR activities.
Job Responsibilities
- Campaign Leadership: Lead and direct marketing and public relations campaigns, including the development of strategies and action plans.
- Content Creation: Draft a variety of content, such as public relations plans, press releases, social media posts, website copy, and program reports.
- Marketing Materials: Oversee the creation of eye-catching marketing collateral, including flyers, brochures, presentations, newsletters, and digital assets.
- Build Presentations: Build and lead compelling presentations to clients, boards, and executives.
- Media Relations: Secure local, national, and global media coverage. Pitch stories, handle media relations, prepare clients for interviews, and monitor media coverage and analytics.
- Social Media Strategy: Create and manage strategic social media campaigns. Develop brand messaging, write posts, coordinate graphics, and enhance social media presence.
- Event Coordination: Plan and manage special events such as press conferences, focus groups, community events, grand openings, and more.
- Performance Metrics: Develop KPIs to evaluate the success of marketing campaigns and strategies.
- Project Documentation: Prepare presentations, status reports, and other necessary documentation for each project.
- Quality Control: Review all deliverables to ensure they meet or exceed client expectations.
- Website Building: Build template-based sites and update content for clients. (Knowledge in Squarespace and WordPress site design).
- Video and Podcast: Experience in video or podcast production is a plus.

Qualifications
- Senior Role: 7+ years of marketing and public relations experience.
- Junior Role: Minimum of 2 years of experience acceptable.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications, journalism, or a related field.
- Strong writing skills with a solid understanding of AP Style.
- Proven experience managing media campaigns and established relationships with reporters.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines and high client expectations.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.
