AAJ is seeking a Senior Manager – Social Media & Digital Marketing for its Marketing department. The Senior Manager of Social Media & Digital Marketing is responsible for developing, managing, and executing AAJ’s social media strategy while proactively seeking opportunities to further advance the organization and its mission through online campaigns, paid advertising, stakeholder engagement, digital marketing outreach, and growing social media channels.

### Responsibilities

– Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging social media content daily (e.g., original text, photos, graphics, videos) on social media platforms including but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
– Day-to-day management and execution of social media campaigns, ensuring a consistent voice across multiple platforms.
– Create actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers, increase sales, and measure, analyze, and report on progress.
– Create and maintain a content calendar, which includes digital campaigns, social media strategy, and performance objectives.
– Collaborate with internal partner groups to create holistic and varied content.
– Continually monitor all AAJ social media platforms and brand mentions, and engage where appropriate.
– Create and maintain a unique and noteworthy persona/voice for AAJ online.
– Manage paid digital advertising campaigns.
– Edit and/or create online web, social media, and other digitally formatted videos.
– Work with marketing team members to gather metrics to measure and report on performance and make adjustments where needed.
– Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, digital advertising, design tools, and applications.
– Maintain photography archives.

### Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing or communications.
– Minimum 5 years combined professional experience in web-based/digital promotion; executing social media content strategy; commercial social media or web-based customer engagement; and/or developing and executing digital advertising campaigns.
– An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
– Expertise using social media platforms (such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) and social media management software (such as Sprout Social, HubSpot, or Hootsuite).
– Experience in email marketing, digital marketing, and digital advertising.
– Strong writing and copy-editing skills and attention to detail.
– Strong organizational and project management skills.
– Experience with project management software (such as Monday.com, Asana, Teams).
– Independent initiative and ability to work with and/or lead hybrid teams.
– Intermediate to advanced skills in office software (such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the like).
– Creative experience with video-editing software and visual design software (such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lumen5).
– Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
– Commitment to issues important to AAJ and its members.

### Salary Range

$78,000 – $85,176
