What You Will Be Doing

The Communications Coordinator plays a central role in advancing the firm’s visibility and engagement across digital, media, and client-facing platforms. This position combines public relations, marketing communications, and digital marketing functions to support strategic storytelling, content development, and campaign execution. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator with strong writing skills, technical fluency in digital platforms, and a collaborative mindset.

About This Role
Public Relations & Media

Draft and post firm news and announcements for publication on the website, intranet, and social media.

Monitor and summarize daily media mentions of the firm and its lawyers.

Support awards and survey submissions for legal and business publications.

Assist in creating media lists, participate in media strategy discussions, conduct research for media announcements, and occasionally conduct media outreach.

Support additional administrative functions, including updating lawyer bios and promoting corporate deals.

Marketing Communications

Write and edit marketing collateral, including web content, attorney biographies, fact sheets, and promotional emails.

Draft, edit, and post internal news on the intranet and coordinate twice-weekly firmwide emails.

Collaborate with lawyers and business professionals to develop and finalize content.

Ensure stylistic and grammatical consistency across all firm materials.

Coordinate with the Visual Communications team on web and print deliverables.

Digital Marketing

Manage website content updates.

Create, distribute, and promote blogs and client alerts using CMS and email platforms.

Audit firm and competitor websites and prepare analytics reports.

Maintain and update CRM contacts and marketing lists.

Serve as technical resource for webinars and manage training documentation.

General Support

Provide administrative support as needed for the full Central Operations for Relationship Engagement team, including experiences in alumni relations, visual communications, RFPs, and other proposals.

Help supervise interns and contribute to special projects.

Assume additional responsibilities as assigned.

Display professionalism, flexibility, and a “can-do” attitude in all interactions.

Required Skills
What You Will Bring / Your Qualifications

Proven oral and written communication skills.

Precise attention to detail, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to work effectively under multiple supervisors in an atmosphere of multiple projects.

Strong time management skills to organize and prioritize workload and meet deadlines.

Demonstrated experience working independently with minimal supervision.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.

Required Experience

Education:

Bachelor’s degree required.

Experience:

2 years of public relations, communications, or marketing experience preferred. No events experience necessary.

Law firm or professional services experience a plus.
