  • Partner with communications, campaigns, brand, and program teams to shape and deliver cohesive campaign content.
  • Execute digital partnerships for major advocacy and campaign moments, balancing speed, clarity, and relationship cultivation.
  • Represent the digital team in internal strategy discussions, partnership meetings, and cross-functional planning sessions.

Performance & Trend Analysis

  • Monitor platform analytics and audience insights to assess content performance and guide future strategy.
  • Stay on top of emerging social trends, tools, and formats—bringing forward ideas to strengthen and evolve HRC’s digital presence.
  • Work with data and digital leads to refine reporting processes and align content with key performance goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of experience in digital communications, creative content, or social media strategy—preferably within issue advocacy, electoral campaigns, or media.

  • Strong editorial judgment, excellent attention to detail, and experience shaping narrative across video, visual, and written formats.
  • Confident team leader and collaborator who can manage creative workflows, mentor talent, and balance urgency with long-term vision.
  • Highly organized with the ability to juggle competing priorities, pivot quickly, and meet tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.
  • Passion for digital storytelling and its role in culture shift, advocacy, and community power-building.
  • Committed to inclusion with experience working across lines of difference and centering marginalized communities.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours—including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A strong alignment with HRC’s mission and values, especially around LGBTQ+ equality and representation.
  • Ability to travel at least 20–30% of the time. This may often include evening, overnight or weekend work.
