CeLeen, an operating firm of Command Holdings, is seeking a Digital Communications Specialist to serve on a potential contract supporting the US Coast Guard Office of Governmental Public Affairs (CG-092).

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Lead development of digital communications campaigns and associated deliverables.

Brief senior leadership on approach strategy, implementation, and measures for success. Develop and execute digital components of strategic communication action plans.

Maintain an understanding of current events relating to the client and their work while analyzing and developing appropriate and effective responses.

Build and maintain a trusting relationship with the client.

Understand the client’s priorities and provide creative ideas and strategic thought to support their mission.

Coordinate scheduling, agendas, materials, participant lists, and action items for multiple working groups and councils.

Facilitate client meetings, keeping meetings on time and on agenda, and follow up on action items.

Develop and maintain program organizational charts and stakeholder outreach matrices.

Coordinate with USCG offices to produce multimedia products, including infographics and video.

Develop and track responses to requests for information from other government agencies.

Lead and support communications-focused projects and initiatives.

Lead and facilitate client meetings and exercises.

This position is contingent on contract award.

Anticipated Salary Range: $105,000 – $112,000

Work Environment:

Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.

Physical Demands:

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.

Employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.

Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, digital media, or a related field and 6 years of relevant experience, or a minimum of 4 years of experience with a Master’s degree or higher in business, communications, marketing, digital media, or a related field.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.

Ability to plan and develop strategic digital communications strategy and provide implementation and management consulting to commercial or federal clientele.

Ability to communicate comfortably and effectively with a range of stakeholders both orally and in writing.

Ability to read and interpret government policy, regulations, and directives, and to apply those interpretations when directed by the client.

Ability to pass a federal background investigation including fingerprinting.

Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.

Professional proficiency in English.

Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

Direct experience supporting the US Coast Guard or other US Military experience.
