### Title: Director, Strategic Communications

**Required:** 8+ years of experience in communications, PR, or public affairs
**Location:** Washington, DC

– Confident in writing ability and verbal communication
– Interested in health care or education policy
– Experienced at managing junior team members
– Attentive to details and committed to producing polished products
– Organized and task-oriented; able to manage multiple projects at once
– Adaptable to meet changing priorities
– Professional, solution-oriented, and collaborative

### What You Do:

– Oversee day-to-day support of clients
– Manage client projects, including planning and delivering on-time products developed with colleagues and third-party vendors
– Manage communications campaigns from concept to implementation
– Develop creative, concise, and error-free content, including social media toolkits, infographics, press releases, opinion editorials, and talking points
– Research, analyze, and summarize complex health care and education policy issues in written and verbal form
– Direct and support junior staff
