Manager, Marketing and Communications
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Marketing and Communications Manager will work alongside the Director of Marketing to drive revenue, grow the fan base, and elevate the Power FC brand. The Marketing and Communications Manager will be responsible for Power FC’s Grassroots & Experiential Marketing vertical, as well as Project & Traffic Management, and Campaign Creation & Management. The Marketing Manager will need to be a self-starter, take initiative, and lead confidently while being a natural and amiable collaborator.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must have five years’ experience.
- Lead the strategic planning of our key Marketing tentpoles and communication campaigns throughout the season that will help drive fan growth and support our revenue-generating initiatives.
- Work closely with Ticketing team to develop integrated plans to drive Ticketing Initiatives (Season Membership Renewal, New Deposits, Single-Game Tickets, etc.).
- Ensure Marketing communications are aligned with our Brand Identity, Brand Voice, and Tone.
- Develop, execute, and manage email and mobile marketing campaigns.
- Contribute to Brand Campaign strategy and development that will build our brand and drive Fandom growth.
- Collaborate with the internal Creative Services team, writing and aligning the Brief and ensuring on-time delivery of assets.
- Develop relationships with media covering sports in the DMV area to generate coverage of the Team.
- Write press releases, game notes, and contribute to the day-to-day needs of the team.
