🎯 Position Overview
The Marketing Coordinator is an entry-level position designed for an energetic, detail-oriented individual eager to build a career in communications and marketing. This role supports NABIP’s marketing efforts to promote membership, events, programs, and advocacy initiatives while providing dedicated support to state and local chapters.

🔑 Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Content Support
Assist with the development and implementation of marketing campaigns for NABIP programs, membership, and events.

Draft and edit copy for emails, social media, website updates, and print materials.

Coordinate with designers and vendors on the production of marketing collateral.

Social Media & Digital Marketing
Create and schedule posts across NABIP’s social media channels.

Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and identify opportunities to increase reach.

Help with website updates and email marketing campaigns.

Event & Member Support
Provide marketing support for NABIP’s events, webinars, and educational programs.

Assist in developing promotional campaigns for NABIP events and member programs.

Chapter Support
Assist chapters by providing customizable toolkits, templates, graphics, and social media content to help them promote membership, events, and advocacy.

Respond to chapter requests for marketing resources and coordinate with staff to ensure timely delivery.

Maintain a repository of marketing assets for chapter leaders.

Share best practices and success stories among chapters to strengthen engagement and visibility.

Tracking & Reporting
Maintain content calendars and timelines.

Report on email, social media, and campaign performance.

Team Collaboration
Work closely with NABIP’s communications, membership, and professional development teams to ensure consistent messaging.

Provide administrative and project support as needed.

🌟 Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Internship or 1–2 years of professional experience in marketing, communications, or related roles (association/nonprofit experience a plus).

Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) preferred.

Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work well both independently and as part of a team.
