The Knot Worldwide is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, highly quantitative Senior Media Manager to lead consumer growth across both paid and affiliate acquisition efforts across The Knot and WeddingWire brands. Responsibilities include owning end-to-end paid marketing strategy and program operations management for B2C initiatives, including but not limited to the following channels: OTT, CTV, OOH, Display, Paid Search, Social, App stores, and affiliate.

The position, reporting to the Sr. Director of Media, involves partnering across multiple organizational units (consumer & integrated marketing, creative, product, engineering, and business management, FP&A) to increase visibility and return on ad spend for these growing brands. This position directly manages a team of marketing managers and analysts and will manage end-to-end aspects of media investment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute media campaigns across a range of platforms such as YouTube, TradeDesk, Reddit, Hulu, Meta, X, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, Peacock, PrimeVideo, Spotify, iHeartMedia, and DV360.
  • Support the US media team (B2C and B2B, with heavy focus on B2C) with launching and managing top-of-funnel campaigns.
  • Ensure that ad campaigns are effectively set up to meet their objectives and deadlines.
  • Oversee creative quality assurance and testing, manage campaign tags, secure and allocate audiences, set up campaigns, troubleshoot issues, handle reporting and billing, capture ad screenshots, and prepare post-campaign reports.
  • Provide technical quality assurance for ad serving as needed, and coordinate with Platform Support & Engineering teams if necessary.
  • Troubleshoot general tracking and technical issues.
  • Document, update, and maintain ad specifications, trafficking procedures, and workflow processes for accounts.
  • Manage and process initial through mid-flight creative asset changes.
  • Update Marketing teams and agency partners on campaign status and any execution challenges.
  • Participate in meetings with advertising partners to learn about industry best practices and share these insights with our organization to keep up with evolving standards.
  • Own monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting for media campaigns across various brands and products, in partnership with data analytics/science teams.
  • Produce and regularly present reports to marketing leadership, highlighting key metrics and providing actionable insights into marketing performance relative to business goals.
  • Advocate for process improvements and automation opportunities; proactively seek ways to enhance internal workflows and cross-collaboration.
  • Conduct effective meetings, including preparing agendas, taking notes, preparing materials, and identifying action items.

SUCCESSFUL SENIOR ASSOCIATE, MEDIA OPERATIONS CANDIDATES WILL HAVE

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in advertising and media, with a strong background in media operations and day-to-day campaign management.
  • Practical experience with tagging, trafficking, quality assurance, launching, and managing media ad campaigns directly within platforms and across omni-channel marketing systems.
  • Preferred experience in a media agency setting, with a focus on strategy, buying, and operations.
  • Proven track record in executing and optimizing effective brand and direct-to-consumer media programs across various channels (e.g., video, audio streaming, CTV, SEM, PMax, programmatic, social media, app) within a portfolio-based model.
  • Proficiency in using Excel, Google Sheets, and Google Slides; actively able to perform data intake and summarization, including insights.
  • Excellent project management and prioritization abilities.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong understanding of digital media and the channels involved in digital marketing campaigns.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Capability to handle ambiguity, identify problems or obstacles, and take action to resolve them.
